In preparation for our trip to San Francisco, we rented the Clint Eastwood classic, "Escape from Alcatraz." The girls loved it, and it made their trip to "The Rock" much more meaningful. It was pretty overcast most of our trip. Below are some of the Alcatraz highlights. (Wendy was working during the Alcatraz tour and is noticeably absent.)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Alcatraz. It's the way prison should be! I remember as a 18 year old, my father told us we were going to go to San Fransisco for family vacation. he told us we would see a prison, walk along a fisherman's wharf, etc. I thought BORING. But it was one of our greatest vacations ever. I love the Bay Area!
I have never been! It looks amazing. What a sight to see. Cute pictures.
I agree with Michelle. Alcatraz has to be one of the coolest places to visit. What a great trip.
